We Love somebody with sickle cell

“We provide access to care, education, and support for individuals living with Sickle Cell. Join us in changing lives today.”

What Makes Us Special

We facilitate care for our warriors through provision of necessary healthcare facilities which includes regular checkups, crisis management and acute emergency situations. We work on connecting our warriors with reliable hospitals, providing financial support with their treatment costs, and raising standards of care with medical facilities.

The creation of specific seminars, workshops and community outreach programs aimed to educate the warriors and the public as well. For the warriors, emphasis is given to practical ways of management, for example the actual ways to manage nutrition, pain, mental status and lifestyle in the real world.

We are actively involved with healthcare providers, NGOs, government bodies, and other international organizations to develop a more comprehensive network to assist our warriors. Whether it’s the provision of psychological counseling, access to specialist medical care, or support during an emergency response, our collaborations enable us to amplify the effectiveness of our support.

What We Do

— We educate

We engage our warriors and parents in seminars to educate them on the stigmatisation of warriors, as well as offering training programs and sensitisation on becoming advocates for SCD eradication, with this there would be an intense reduction in bringing Babies with Sickle Cell Diseases to the world

— We Provide Care

By making hospital care accessible for them, we provide needed drugs for them, give them access to information and most importantly making sure that no warrior under our care goes to bed without food

— We Consult

Partnering with other relevant organisations, and agencies where and when necessary in order to provide the necessary phycological and medical support for people living with SCD

Our Outreach

We have warriors from all regions of the country, and also from diaspora – UK, Canada, Gambia, USA etc

Surviving Sickle Cell Diseases in our environment is all dependent on money, because an average warrior may need hospital care about ten times or more in the course of a year.

Our Activities

Holding rallies and walks to help the general public know that warriors can be open with their condition. We also organize workshops, community awareness, meetings, Seminars, and campaigns to educate families and the society at large on the news to totally eradicate Sickle Cell diseases
